Ozanne Princen is a Belgian sculptor whose practice is rooted in dance-movement, memory and form. Guided by a feminine eye and an aim for beauty and grace, she explores the quiet strength of the feminine in bronze. The body’s lines become architecture: curves that hold space, stillness that sets its own tempo.
Princen began ballet at three with her two sisters, later studying Modern History and Cultural Studies before teaching history and philosophy. Entrepreneurship led her to co-found By Gaspard Wedding & Events; during the pandemic she launched Rouge Flammes and began formal studies in sculpture, developing a practice at the intersection of fine art, aesthetics and design.
The recurring motif of the leg – calf, knee and thigh – emerges from ballet, where the legs carry story and balance, lift and release. In bronze she distils that vocabulary into works that feel timeless yet alive.
