Ozanne Princen, artist and bronze sculptor

The studio is where observation becomes form.

Rooted in a background in classical ballet, Ozanne Princen approaches sculpture through the language of the body; translating movement, memory and gesture into enduring form.

Working primarily in bronze, and increasingly with natural stone, her practice explores the tension between movement and stillness, softness and strength, body and architecture.

Presented by Galerie Agnès Dechanteloup, Paris.

Sketches and studies form the beginning of this process: a search for line, proportion and presence before a work takes physical form.
